James is a writer, curator, producer and artist specialising in street and outsider art.

Originally from the UK, James made the move to Norway in 2015 to run the world-renowned Nuart Festival where he first discovered his love of tour-guiding. He is the founder of Street Art Oslo, creative director of Løkka-Lykke gatekunstfest and co-founder of the Subvertising Norway collective.

James particularly enjoys showing a huge variety of works on his tours, from large-scale murals to harder-to-find stencils, sculptures, wheatpastes and stickers.

Viktor Gjengaar

Viktor is the founder of Urban Samtidskunst and responsible for numerous street art projects in and around Oslo, most notably Tøyen´s outdoor gallery.

Born and bred in Oslo, Viktor is a keen amateur street artist. He has also crossed over successfully into politics as a representative of the Green Party. As both an organiser and politician Viktor helped lobby for Oslo Kommune’s street art ‘action plan’ (2016-20, 22-25), which aims to promote graffiti and street art as contemporary art forms in public space.

Viktor´s tours combine his enthusiasm for street art along with an intimate knowledge of the city he grew up in.
